Hunter Rain Boots

About two months ago, I went on a rampage about Hunter rain boots. I obsessed over outfit pictures on Pinterest, coveted their beauty on Nordstrom's website, and researched the best possibilities to get a potential bargain. $150 is certainly a steep price for a pair of boots. I'm 5'2", so finding a pair would be a bit of a trick for a short stature like mine. I tracked down a pair at a nearby Lord & Taylor, beyond excited. Research told me that a size 6M would do the trick. I tried a black matte pair of boots, and I looked...ridiculous. The boots were clunky and too tall and they just looked wrong. I was beyond disappointed. I quickly ran to the Internet in hopes of finding some help.
There were many different posts on the internet for short girls wanting Hunters, and the majority pointed me towards buying kids Hunter boots. So I bought them. I bought a size 5M (big kid's) and they couldn't fit more perfect!! I highly recommend purchasing these if you're looking to buy Hunters but you're short like I am. I have a friend who's much slimmer than I am who bought a pair in 4M  (big kid's) and they fit her like a charm as well. We're both about 5'1", or 5'2". These boots were a fantastic purchase. The only downside I saw to them was the reflector patches on the back of the boots, but you can easily ignore them. The kids boots are half the price of adult boots - I got mine for $75.00 at Nordstrom.com - and they fit wonderfully. I bought the matte pair of Original Kids Hunter Boots in Raspberry and I love them so much. The packaging and details of the boots and extra small touches to the boots make me want to be a repeat customer. I plan to purchase a black matte pair of Hunter Kids Boots before I begin school in the fall. Hope this helps someone else out there, indecisive about Hunters! <3
